Day 01 –Melbourne

Welcome to Australia-Melbourne. Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel to check in. Later in evening, proceed to a guided City tour. We’ll see the famous Royal Botanical Gardens, Town Hall, St. Patrick’s Cathedral, National tennis center, the Shrine of Remembrance, etc. Enjoy a welcome dinner. Overnight in Melbourne. (Meals: L, D)

Day 02 –Melbourne

After breakfast, we begin our tour to Philip Island. On our way, we see the famous Melbourne Cricket Ground. In Philip Island, we get up close with Australia’s famous wildlife- Penguins, Koalas and Wallabies. See the Penguin Parade (subject to timing), featuring a walk back from the sea to their underground burrows at dusk. Enjoy the opportunity to feed and pat Kangaroos, Wallabies and other farm animals. Overnight in Melbourne. (Meals: B, L, D) 

Day 03 –Melbourne

After breakfast, we leave for a day excursion for the Great Ocean Road. This spectacular Victorian west coast stretches for about 104 kms. Watch the ‘the Twelve Apostles’, ‘The Loch Ard Gorge” and many more sights. Enjoy the spectacular views of golden surf beaches, sheer cliffs and breathtaking drive through National Parks.  Enjoy dinner. Overnight in Melbourne. (Meals: B, L, D) 

Day 04 –Melbourne – Cairns

After breakfast, we take a flight to Cairns. We proceed to Kuranda rainforest. Experience the Skyrail- an unforgettable journey through Australia’s World Heritage listed tropical rainforest, and a visit to the state-of-the art Rainforest Interpretation Center. Enjoy dinner in the tranquil atmosphere and then check into the hotel. Overnight in Cairns. (Meals: B, L, D) 

Day 05 – Cairns- Green Island

After an early breakfast, we proceed to Green Island and the Great Barrier Reef. We board cruise for the Great Barrier Reef- home to the colorful coral reefs, a marine National Park with unique rainforests and white sandy beaches. The Green Island is one of the most picturesque islands on the Queensland coast. You can also participate in snorkeling, diving, and swim in the warm waters or just relax on the beautiful beach. Enjoy Continental lunch on board the cruise. After enjoying the entire day amongst the Coral reefs, return with a lifetime of memories. On the way back, have dinner. Overnight at Cairns. Day 06 –Cairns – Sydney

After breakfast, we depart for Sydney-the largest and the most populous city of Australia. Upon arrival, we proceed for City tour of Sydney and visit Chinatown, Sydney Aquarium, The Rock’s – Sydney’s birthplace, Parliament House, Hyde Park, St James Cathedral, St Mary’s Cathedral, Art Gallery, Mrs Macquaries Chair (from here get a superb views of the harbour and city skyline), Royal Australian Naval Base at Garden Island, Kings Cross– Sydney’s ‘hot spot’. Later enjoy shopping (if time permits).

After dinner, check into hotel. Overnight at Sydney. (Meals: B, L, D) 

Day 07 – Sydney – Featherdale Park – Blue Mountains

After breakfast, we proceed to Sydney Featherdale Wildlife Park for the ‘Cuddle a Koala’ tour. You will have excellent opportunities to observe Australia’s most unique, native animals- Koalas, Wombats, Kangaroos, Wallabies, Emus, Dingoes, up close. See Australia’s biggest crocodile and walk through a forest. Later, proceed to the Blue Mountains. Enjoy the scenic view and three rock formations known as 3 sisters at Echo Point, a must visit attraction. It is regarded as Australia’s most outstanding cave system with spectacular caves, underground river and amazing formations- it is among the finest and oldest cave systems of the world. Overnight in Sydney. (Meals: B, L, D) 

Day 08 – Sydney – Guided City Tour

Today, proceed for a Guided City tour of Sydney. Visit the observatory deck of Sydney Tower-the tallest free-standing structure in Sydney, for a 360° aerial view of the spectacular city of Sydney. Proceed to Opera House and step inside. Enjoy a guided tour of this iconic landmark. Enjoy the clear waters of Bondi Beach. Visit the Royal Botanical Garden and Luna Park. Tonight, enjoy a three-course dinner followed by a cabaret show, on board a cruise along the Sydney Harbor. It is a great opportunity to get pictures of the Opera House and the Harbor Bridge. Overnight in Sydney. (Meals: B, L, D)

Day 9 – Fly to Christchurch, New Zealand – Garden City Tour

It is time to say goodbye to Australia & Hello to New Zealand! After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport to board a flight to Christchurch, New Zealand. Christchurch is New Zealand’s second-largest city and the gateway to South Island. Bordered by hills and the Pacific Ocean, it is situated on the edge of the Canterbury Plains. Upon arrival, enjoy an Orientation tour of Christchurch- the Canterbury Museum, the Christchurch Arts Center, Botanical Garden, Port Hills, to name a few. Overnight in Christchurch. (Meals: B, L, D) 

Day 10 – Christchurch – Franz Josef Glacier

After breakfast, depart to Franz Josef by surface. The magnificient Franz Josef Glacier is widely regarded as the gem of New Zealand’s west coast glaciers. It is one of the most impressive sights to be found anywhere in the world. Here, we get the opportunity to experience the most spectacular glacier environment available. Overnight in Franz Josef.

Those who are taking the Tranz Alpine scenic train will board the train at Christchurch to Greymouth station which will travel across the South Island through the Arthur’s Pass National Park from the east coast to the west. This ride is considered as one of the world’s great train journeys. Upon arrival at Greymouth, connect with your coach journey and proceed towards Franz Josef glacier region. Overnight in Franz Josef. (Meals: B, L, D)

Day 11 – Franz Josef – Wanaka – Queenstown

After breakfast, we start our journey to Queenstown. Enroute, we travel through the Haast Pass, native forests, over Southern Alps, vast rainforest, gushing waterfalls and the shores of Lake Hawea to reach the puzzling world of Wanaka. Afterwards, we arrive at Queenstown to enjoy Gondola ride and City tour. We visit the AJ Hackett Bungy Bridge, Gibbston Valley Winery, historic Arrow Town, Edith Cavell Bridgend and then transfer to hotel.  Overnight in Queenstown. (Meals: B, L, D)

 Day 12 – Queenstown – Milford Sound Day Cruise – Queenstown

Today, depart to visit the eighth wonder of the world Milford Sound, also known as Piopiotahi in Maori, after an early breakfast. Nowhere else in Fiord land do the mountains stand so tall, straight out of the sea. Luxuriant rain forest clings to sheer rock walls and waterfalls tumble hundreds of meters to the sea below. Enjoy a day cruise with lunch at Milford sound. On completion, we return to Queenstown. Overnight in Queenstown. (Meals: B, L, D)

 Day 13 – Queenstown City Tour

After breakfast, we take the Queenstown City tour. Enjoy Gondola ride. Rest of the day at leisure and at your own. Overnight in Queenstown. (Meals: B, L, D)

 Day 14 – Queenstown – Rotorua

After breakfast, transfer to the airport to take a flight to Rotoura. Arrive in Rotoura city, which is located on the Volcanic Plateau and has one of the world’s most lively fields of geothermal activity. On arrival, proceed to the world famous, live Sheep Show at the Agro dome. The Agro dome Sheep Show is an exciting stage show about the different breeds of New Zealand.  Later, we proceed to Lake Rotorua and see the skyrocketing geysers, hot springs and boiling mud pools enroute, have dinner and then check into hotel. Overnight in Rotoura. (Meals: B, L, D)

Day 15 – Rotorua – Whakarewarewa – Waitomo Glow Worm Cave – Auckland

After breakfast, we will travel to a “Living Thermal Village” – Whakarewarewa to discover the unique lifestyle and tradition. Take a guided tour and witness phenomena of Mother Nature, and learn how we have come to live in harmony within this unique landscape and environment. Later enjoy the Maori cultural Dance (if time permits). Later, travel through Waikato farmland to the Waitomo Caves where you will glide silently by boat and observe spectacular display of tiny lights emitted by these unique life forms deep in the cave grotto. Later, depart for Auckland by surface and overnight stay in Auckland. (Meals: B, L, D)

Day 16 – Auckland City Tour – Waiheke Island

After breakfast, proceed for a City Tour of Auckland, rightly called the City of Sails. This city has more boats per capita than any other city in the world. It is also known as Tamaki Makau Rau, the city of 100 lovers. Visit Water-front, Mission Bay, Harbor Bridge, Amex Viaduct Harbor and enjoy the spectacular 360 degree view of the city from Mt. Eden, the highest natural point in Auckland. Later proceed for Waiheke Island, which is one of the larger Hauraki Gulf islands. It’s a picturesque blend of farmland, forest, beaches, vineyards and olive groves. Today, a 35 minute boat ride will take you to this beautiful island, which will be followed by a scenic highlight tour of various stunning forested Mamaku ranges locations. On arrival, you will meet an experienced guide who will give you a taste of the views, culture, and history that made up the diverse island of Waiheke. Overnight in Auckland. (Meals: B, L, D)

Day 17 – Auckland – Departure

Today after breakfast free time at your own. After Lunch proceed for airport for Flight back to home. (Meals: B, L)
